1) Rewrite the standard in your own words. how does this assignment relate to the standard?
the standard is to find the proportional relationship and the constant of proportionality. then graphing them the points onto a graph is also part of the standard. this assignment relates to the standard because we find the proportion, cop (constant of proportionality), and graph them on a graph.
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this ASSIGNMENT?
the first step I took was to fill out a worksheet ms.ha gave us. after the worksheet was filled out, all I had to do was put them on a poster board. there were three parts to the project so I divided the poster into three sections. each section represents the three different parts. after everything was on the poster board, I added a small square of graph paper to graph the points onto. finally, I just decorated the poster and I was done with the project.
3) This ASSIGNMENT demonstrates the following strengths...
this assignment shows the skills of organization. organization is very important in a project. without it, the poster will be a mess. even I probably won't be able to know where everything is. this project also shows that I can find the proportionality and the cop. I can also graph the points onto an actual graph.
4) I could have improved my work on this ASSIGNMENT by...
I could have improved my work by adding some more decorations and being more creative. for example, since this project is "leaky faucets", I could have made the whole project into a leaking faucet. the faucet could have been "leaking" answer to the questions on the worksheet I filled out.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this ASSIGNMENT in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I can use the skill of making an organized poster in the future. I can also use these skills when I'm still in school. these skills will really come in handy when I'm taking notes as well. whenever I take notes, I make all of the words fit and still know where everything is.
