1. Justify how this project/activity/assignment meets the standard, using evidence from the standard itself to demonstrate your mastery and/or understanding.
This assignment relates to the standard because we made a poster on the eastern woodlands. These standard is about being able to explain a region. There are different types of regions and we were assigned one region to create a project about. We learned about how the people who lived in the regions and how they survived in the different types of regions. Everything was different depending on where they lived and the climate and environment.
2. Elaborate on at least 1 skill and/or strength you feel you gained from completing this project.
I gained the skill of decoration because the decoration on the poster was very good. Decorating can be a way of creating a better poster/project/assignment. Another skill that I gained was the skill of finding information. Since the project was supposed to be about information about different things like food they ate, houses they lived in, etc, we had to find specific information.
Upon reflecting on your work/score, what is ONE area of work you could have done better on? How will improving in this area benefit future work/projects?
One area that I could have done better was adding more information on the poster. There wasn't a lot of information on the poster so I think that my group could have added more information. I believe that it was possible to add more details to the information. Since we presented this poster, adding some more interesting facts could have gotten more of the students attentions.
4. How will you presently apply the content and skills you learned from this assignment in the real world. Make connections between the content and your life.
Always having surplus of information is always good in any project. Having a surplus of information in a project can get the assignment a better score. The skill of decoration can also be helpful when working on any project. A poster with good decoration can look unique and stand out from other projects that are together.
