this standard is about being able to find the area and circumference of a circle, in this case a pizza. this assignment is about finding the area and circumference of the pizza and seeing which one is the best deal.
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this ASSIGNMENT?
i filled out the worksheet first. i technically filled it out half way and started working on the actual poster. i moved over the information on thw=e worksheet to the poster. i finally just decorated the empty spaces and tried to make it a little funny, too.

this assignment shows that i can find area and circumference very well enough to find them in a pizza. i had a bit of trouble finding area because it was kind of new to me. i wasn't sure which step to do first because i had heard different ways from my friends.

i could have improved this assignment by having to be more creative with the whole project. for example, the poster board can be decorated into a pizza with math problems as toppings on the pizzas. that would have been very creative.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this ASSIGNMENT in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
i can find area and circumference in future math classes. this skill to make projects can also help in the future when i have other projects to do. maybe i can even work at a pizza parlor and help finding the area and circumference.
